Edith Helen Engle

Edith Helen Engle, 84, of Point Pleasant, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant. She was born March 28, 1937, in Webster Springs, WV, a daughter of the late Forest Ray Armentrout and Bessie Mildred (Eubank) Armentrout. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Weaver; and brothers, Bill Armentrout, Bob Armentrout, Henry Armentrout and Hunter Armentrout. Edith was a Christian and of the Methodist faith.She was a graduate of Burnsville High School Class of 1955, a Registered Central Service Technician and retired from Pleasant Valley Hospital. She is survived by daughters, Sandra (Roger) Daugherty of Point Pleasant, Debra (James "Butch") Roark of Point Pleasant and Patricia Ann Engle of Gallipolis, OH; a son, Calvin Jackson Jr. (Marsha) Engle of Fairplain, WV; sisters, Phyllis Holloway of Buckhannon, WV and Margie Lons of Medina, OH; brothers, Richard (Kathy) Armentrout of Beckley, WV and John (Margaret) Armentrout of Berkley Springs, WV; six grandchildren and families; one step grandchild; 13 great-grandchildren;and her companion, Howard Glen Williams and family of Point Pleasant. A private funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Bryan Workman officiating.Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant.
