E. Catherine (Clay) Cobb, 51, of Point Pleasant, died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at her home. She was a graduate of Richwood High School Class of 1975, homemaker and owner of Cobb's Candles. Catherine was born May 6, 1957 in Mullens, WV to the late Robert Burke Clay and Nada Yevette (Grindstaff) Clay. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Hope Adair Schivley; and a brother, William David Clay. Surviving are her husband, Robert Cobb Jr. of Point Pleasant; two sons, Wesley C. (Marsha) Lovejoy of Chloe, WV and Ian T. Lovejoy of Los Angeles, CA; three stepsons, Matthew (Candy) Cobb of Cross Lanes, WV, Robby (Erin) Cobb of Charleston, WV, and Daniel (Linnea) Cobb of Ocala, FL; two brothers, Michael Thomas Clay of Penhook, VA and Robert Burkes Clay of Roanoke, WV; five grandchildren, Kayla and Lauren Lovejoy, Hayden, Gannon and Nick Cobb; and mother-in-law, Jean Cobb of Point Pleasant. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Dean Warner and Pastor Chuck Elkins officiating. Private burial will be observed.
