Dottie Lou (Casto) Lingerfelt, 82, of Letart, passed away at home with family Thursday, January 14, 2016. Dottie knew the Lord as her Savior. She was born September 20, 1933, in Leon, WV, a daughter of the late Orville R. and Nancy (Herdman) Casto. Dottie was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved tending to her beautiful flowers, garden and loved cooking, baking and cooking shows. She also loved visiting with family and friends. Her children were her world. Dottie is survived by daughters, Mikki Murl Casto-(Fred) Baker of Point Pleasant and Debbie (Ray) Ohlinger of Mt. Alto, WV; sons, William Allen Norville of Leon, James Douglas Norville and John Fitzgerald Norville of Letart, WV; two brothers, Donald (Helen) Casto of Given, WV and Dalmer (Ruby Clark) Casto of Leon; two sisters, Mary (Kenneth) Cyrus of Fayetteville, NC and Mertie (Kenny) Dewees of Leon; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; her fur baby Andy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands, Verle Norville and Vince Lingerfelt; sons, Robert Lee Norville and infant son, Daniel Ray Norville; infant granddaughter, Cindy Lou Norville; sisters, Maxine (Bob) McKown and Polly Ann (Ray) Kimberling; and brother, Raymond Casto. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Rev. Jimmy Thornton and Pastor Joe Hammack officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Letart. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Sunday at the funeral home.
