Dorothy Marie Lillard Voiers

Dorothy Marie Lillard Voiers, 79, of Charleston, WV, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at the HospiceCare at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston.

She was born April 29, 1944, in Charleston, a daughter of the late Russell Leonard Young and Retha J. (Landers) Young.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Edward Voiers; a son, Ray Boggs Jr.; brother, Kenneth Young; and sisters, Wanda Young and Brenda Sue Guest.

Dorothy was a former punch press operator for Die-Matic Corporation in Brooklyn Heights, OH.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Reginia K. (Voiers) Lyke and husband Phil of Cleveland, OH; five step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Bert Flora officiating. Burial will follow at the Concord Cemetery in Henderson, WV.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home.
