Doris Jean Stewart

Doris Jean Stewart, 90, of Racine, OH, formerly of Point Pleasant, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, at Ohio State University Hospital, in Columbus, OH. She was born June 18, 1929, in West Columbia, a daughter of the late Harry Stewart and Mary (Williams) Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Margaret Holley; brothers, Lester S. Stewart, Raymond Stewart and Herman Stewart; and a special friend Retha Camden. Doris was employed by Mason County Schools for 36 years, as custodian at North Point Elementary School in Point Pleasant. She is survived by a niece, Pam (Ralph) Calvert of Racine; nephew, James (Carol) Holley of Lancaster, OH; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A private burial was held Monday, March 16, 2020, at Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
