Doris Lee Harris

Doris L. Harris, 84, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant. She was born December 23, 1936, in Fraziers Bottom, WV, a daughter of the late Lester L. Buckle and Beulah P. (Sisson) Buckle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Ann Allbright; a brother-in-law, Bracy Kinnaird; and a nephew, Bryan Buckle. Doris was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Point Pleasant. She was a graduate of Hannan High School Class of 1955 and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Curtis G. Harris of Point Pleasant; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Michael Lenzini of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Gianni Lenzini and Francis Lenzini of Chicago; a sister, Dorothy Kinnaird of Point Pleasant; one brother, Mike (Beverly) Buckle of Apple Grove; brother-in-law, Owen Allbright of Point Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021, at Grace Baptist Church in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Jonathan Pinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Friday at the church. Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
