Doris Ella Cromley

Doris Ella Cromley, 85, of Point Pleasant, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant. She was born April 15, 1935, in Cold Spring, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Wilson Scott Thompson and Eleanor Edith (Frazier) Lee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Cromley III. Doris was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant. She was a graduate of Ocean City High School Class of 1952, Ocean City, NJ, retired from Mason County Schools as a teacher's aide, member of the Mason County Retired Employees and a volunteer member of the Pleasant Valley Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Ed and Diana Cromley of Point Pleasant and Charlie Bill Cromley of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Brooke (David) Price of Gallipolis, OH and Bryan Cromley of Point Pleasant; and seven great grandchildren, Raegan, Rylan, Remington and Romey Price, and Avery, Alivia, and August Cromley. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2020, at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, with Rev. Annetta Durst and Brooke Price officiating. A private graveside service will follow at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Letart. As per the Governor's mandate, face masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
