Donna Gail Hughes

Donna Gail Hughes, 67, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was born November 28, 1954, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Rev. Lue D. Wroten and Norma Jean (Holley) Wroten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Lue Dewayne Wroten; and a sister, Sharon Brown. Donna is survived by her son, Scottie (Tiffany) Cobb of Gallipolis Ferry; two grandchildren, Miranda Cobb of Huntington and Evan Cobb of Gallipolis Ferry; one sister, Joyce (Danny) Smith of Winfield, AL; two brothers, Roger (Martha) Wroten of Glenwood and Kenny Wroten of Rio Grande, OH; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Jessica Queen officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service Sunday at the funeral home.
