Donna Fay Greene

Donna Fay Greene, 69, of Letart, passed away alongside family after a four year battle with cancer, Thursday, January 26, 2023.

She was born April 29, 1953, in Massillon, OH, a daughter of the late James Joseph McClure and Christena Mae (Evans) McClure.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph B. Greene; two sons, Johnny Franklin Greene and Simon Lee Greene; three brothers, Johnny Adkins, Brownie Adkins, Jesse "Rainbow" McClure and an infant brother; sister, Linda Kay McClure; and a brother-in-law, Francis "Peanut" Smithson.

Donna was a retired cook from the Mason County Board of Education, working 30 years at Wahama High School.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening and raising chickens.

She is survived by a son, Dave Frederick Greene of Letart; brothers, Joe "Sunshine" McClure and wife Carol, Roy McClure and wife Wilma, Eddie McClure and wife Kay and Freddie "Pete" McClure and wife Tammy; one sister, Lawhana "Sue" Smithson; aunts, "Bob" Simmons and Ruth (Lester) Evans; and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Fathers House Fellowship Hall in Hartford, WV.  Following the celebration a dinner will be held at the fellowship hall, where family requests that each family attending bring a covered dish.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
