Donald Edward Sisson

Donald Edward Sisson, 88, of Point Pleasant, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington. He was born August 7, 1933, in Pliny, WV, the son of the late Everett Sisson and Pearl May (Dunn) Sisson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Nance. Donald was a member of the Mount Union United Methodist Church in Pliny. He was a graduate of Hannan High School and retired with 25 yrs. service as a production operator from Goodyear/Shell Chemical. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joann (Forth) Sisson of Point Pleasant. A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Bert Flora officiating.Burial followed at the Bowcott Cemetery in Pliny.
