Dennis D. Bush

Dennis Dean Bush, 70, of Gallipolis Ferry, died Friday, April 7, 2017, at his home. He was born July 26, 1946, in Gallipolis Ferry, a son of the late Woodrow Bush and Evelyn Marie (Carlyle) Bush. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Mason Lee Bush, Norman Eugene Bush, Dwaine Franklin Bush, and a stillborn infant. Dennis was a member of the Boilermakers Local 667 of Winfield, WV. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran, member of American Legion Post 23 of Point Pleasant and a graduate of Point Pleasant High School. He is survived by one son, Jason Dean Bush of Gallipolis Ferry; a brother, John P. Bush and wife Wilma Jean of Gallipolis Ferry; one niece; several nephews; and many close friends. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2017, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with speaker Ronnie Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry. Military graveside rites will be given by the Marine Honor Guard and the American Legion Post 23 of Point Pleasant.
