Dencil Eugene Reynolds Sr., 68, of Point Pleasant died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at Holzer Medical Center. He was retired with 15 years service from Holzer Medical Center where he had worked as a security guard. Dencil was born August 21, 1940 in Point Pleasant to the late Eugene James Reynolds and Cora Irene (Durst) Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Devin Reynolds; and sister, Diana Jarrell. Surviving is his wife, Judith A. (Facemire) Reynolds of Point Pleasant; a son, Dencil "Denny" Eugene Jr. (Tammy) Reynolds of Point Pleasant; a daughter, Debra Lynn (Rich) Byus of Point Pleasant; three grandchildren, Beth (Brian) Wood of Teays Valley, Dylan (Jennifer) Handley of Point Pleasant, and Trey Byus of Point Pleasant; a step granddaughter, Melanie Smith of Point Pleasant; one sister, Minnie Crump of Point Pleasant; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 17 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Anthony Toler officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery at Letart.
