Deloris Roberta "Dee Dee" Vansickle

Deloris Roberta "Dee Dee" VanSickle, 86, of Southside, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022, at her home. She was born July 12, 1936, in Southside, a daughter of the late William M. "Tobe" VanSickle and Goldia M. (Dowell) VanSickle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Maxine Hysell, Peggy Kinnard and Shirley Hudson. Dee Dee was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church in Southside and a homemaker. She is survived by a sister, Marjorie Joan Higginbotham of Southside; one brother, Phil VanSickle of Southside; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the Harmony Cemetery in Southside, with Pastor David Radcliff officiating.
