Deloris Jean Killingsworth

Deloris Jean Killingsworth, 90, of Point Pleasant, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Lakin Hospital.

She was born August 26, 1934, in West Columbia, WV, a daughter of the late William H. Stewart and Eula Belle (Hoschar) Stewart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel "Dan" Sherman Killingsworth; and two siblings, Twila Hysell and Billy Stewart.

Deloris was a graduate of Wahama High School Class of 1952. She loved her grandchildren, was an avid reader and enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to gospel music and watching various ministers.

She is survived by her son, John Mark (Jenny Killough) Killingsworth of Montgomery, AL; four grandchildren, Nathan Daniel (Beth) Killingsworth of Madison, Mississippi, Mark Adam (Caitlin) Killingsworth of Winston Salem, NC, Jonathan Bradley (Nicole) Killingsworth of Montgomery, AL and Matthew Christian (Lisa) Killingsworth of Parkersburg, WV; five great grandchildren, Alice Marie Killingsworth, Davis Bradley Killingsworth, John Henry Killingsworth, Boyd Cooper Killingsworth and Timothy Adam Killingsworth.

In honoring Deloris's wishes, there will be no public services and a private burial will be held at a later time at Graham Cemetery in Letart, WV.  Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
