Debra Jean (Allbright) Rainey, 64, of Gallipolis Ferry, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. She was born April 19, 1958, in Point Pleasant, to the late Hilda J. (Dunn) Fisher and Owen E. Allbright of Point Pleasant.She was raised by her maternal grandparents as their own, Mattie R. (Kinniard) Dunn and Rev. Robert P. Dunn. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hilda J. (Dunn) Fisher and Mattie R. (Kinnaird) Dunn; her father Rev. Robert P. Dunn; a brother, Robert Fisher; a dear sister, Edna Mae (Dunn) Holcomb; her twin daughters, Danette Jean and Angela Lee Warden; and her husband of 24 years, (T.G.) Teddy Gene Rainey, whom she married on July 11, 1986.She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jake and Teddy Rainey; two brothers-in-law, Stephen (Steve) Rainey and Aaron Enos; and a nephew and niece, Jamie and Kacee Rainey. Debra was a one of a kind golden spirit, loved by all those she knew.She touched the lives and hearts of many in her lifetime.She had an unconditional love for her family and friends, especially her girls and grandchildren.She was a true genuine, dependable, loving and caring soul.She was a craft maker and an amazing, devoted mother, grandmother and wife.She was a very hard worker and worked her whole life to provide for her family.She worked at Scenic Hills Nursing Center for many years until a serious health condition seized her ability to continue working. She is survived by four daughters, Stacy (Warden) Woodrow and Gary of Bidwell, OH, Jennifer Warden and Harold Huffman of Patriot, OH, Jessica Rainey and Simon Turley of Gallipolis Ferry and a granddaughter who she raised as her own, Amethyst Taylor and Quentin Hanning of Gallipolis Ferry; three grandsons, Tyler Toles, formerly of Henderson, Christopher Taylor II (Brittany) of Point Pleasant and David Berkley of Patriot, OH; and one great-grandson, Brycon M. Russell-Taylor. She is also survived by, a brother, Harvey (Buddy) Fisher of Lancaster, OH; sisters, Betty (Rimmey) Miller and Art of Point Pleasant, Virginia (Ginny) Pickens and Phillip of Huntington, WV and Kay Spurlock of Lesage, WV; sisters-in-laws, Cynthia (Rainey) Myers and Roy of Gallipolis Ferry, Susan Rainey of Gallipolis Ferry, Scarlett (Rainey) Enos of Point Pleasant and Colleen Rainey of Gallipolis Ferry; a brother-in-law, Bill Rainey and Penny of Point Pleasant; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends. Debra will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all her loved ones.She is finally free. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Bert Flora officiating.Burial will follow at the Zion Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the funeral home.
