Debra Sue Law

Debra Sue Law, 72, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Rivers Health in Point Pleasant.

She was born September 24, 1951, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late John Adam Bonecutter and Helen Maxine (Mayes) Bonecutter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie D. Simpkins.

Debra was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1969 and a retired purchasing agent for Amherst Industries, with 40 years' service. She loved and enjoyed taking care of cats and volunteering at the Mason County Animal Shelter.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert "Bobby" Law of Point Pleasant; son and daughter-in-law, John A. and Veronica Law of Sanford, NC; grandson, Doug T. (Katie) Law of Lillington, NC; and a brother, Charles R. (Laura Sue) Bonecutter of Gallipolis Ferry.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Sonny Mayes officiating.  Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Henderson, WV.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the Mason County Animal Shelter, 1965 Fairgrounds Road, Point Pleasant, WV 25550.
