David Allen Myers

David Allen Myers, 49, of Point Pleasant died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant. He was a member of Carpenters Local No. 1159, and Loyal Order of Moose both of Point Pleasant. He had worked for Dallas Woyan Construction, Gallipolis Locks and Dam, and WV Army National Guard. David was born November 1, 1959 in Point Pleasant, son of the late Roy E. Myers and Dolly D. (Woyan) Myers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, John W. and Bonnie M. (Long) Woyan; and paternal grandparents, Buren and Clara (Whittington) Myers. Surviving is his wife, Tina (Blankenship) Myers of Point Pleasant; two sons, Shane Allen Myers of Point Pleasant and Allen Myers of Southside; one brother and sister-in-law, Roy E. "Sonny" and Cindy Myers of Southside. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Warner officiating.
