David A. Eads

David A. Eads, 78, of Red House, WV, formerly of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV.

He was born December 25, 1945, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late James Oral Eads and Bernadine C. (Crooks) Eads.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy E. Eads; and brothers, James Walter Eads and Joseph Ray Eads.

David was a member of Heights United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant and the Sons of the American Revolution. He was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, with the Class of 1964.  David retired from American Electric Power as a maintenance supervisor.

He is survived by his son, James R. Eads of Red House; grandchildren, Jaelyn Michele Eads and James Mason Eads of Buffalo, WV; and nieces, Christine (Dean) Riley, Debbie (Keith) Ray and Jan (Kyle) Shadix.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Charles Marker officiating.  Burial will follow at Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home.
