Darold Dwain Clark, 64, of Gallipolis Ferry, died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was born July 5, 1946, in Sunbeam, WV, a son of the late Alfred Jay Sullivan Clark and Anna Josephine (Peyton) Clark. Darold was retired from Carpenters Local No. 1159 of Point Pleasant, and had worked at Thompson Appliance. He also was a member of the Masonic Order. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Joanna (Clark) Leon, and one infant brother. Darold is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann (Watson) Clark of Gallipolis Ferry; one son, Danny Watson of Fredricktown, OH; one daughter, Alicia Hall (Kevin) of Milton; six grandchildren, Zachary J. Leon of Gallipolis Ferry, Tamara Siders of Boiling Springs, SC, Cody Hall and Braelyn Hall of Milton, Joshua Hall of Huntington, and Skye Hall of Smyrna, DE; two great grandchildren, Ayden Norris and Amberlyn Fino of Boiling Springs, SC; three sisters, Wilmarine Hill (Larry) of West Columbia, Elsie Franklin (Louis) of Crossville, TN, Karen Layne of Garyville, LA; one brother, Dallas Clark (Wanda) of Oakridge, TN; one family member, Steve Layne; and special friends, Rick and Judy Jordan, John Thompson, Don Ward, Lloyd Roach, Donnie and Anita Roush; and several nieces and nephews. At Darold's request, he will be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Minister Danny Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Henderson Cemetery at Henderson, WV. Visitaion will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Online condolences may be made at www.wilcoxenfuneralhome.com.
