Dana Clayton Durst

Dana Clayton Durst, 89, of Point Pleasant, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at home.

He was born December 3, 1933, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Dana A. Durst and Mazie B. (Flowers) Durst.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth P. Durst; and a sister, Linda Smith.

Dana was a very caring person. He graduated from Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1951 and retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Ravenswood, WV.  He served his country in the Army National Guard for nine years.

He is survived by a son, Dana Keith Durst and Lorraine Garcia of Brandon, FL.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Reverend Annetta J. Durst officiating.  Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Tuesday at the funeral home.
