Dallas William Nibert, 93, of Point Pleasant, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center in Point Pleasant.
He was born February 7, 1931, in Gallipolis Ferry, a son of the late Herman Nibert and Mildred (Pearson) Nibert.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita (Spence) Nibert; a brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Winnie Nibert; and furry friends, Lucky, Princie and Lizzy.
Dallas attended the Potters Wheel Pentecostals of Gallipolis, OH where he was baptized and also attended the Church of Christ in Henderson, WV. He retired from the Mason County Board of Education in the Transportation Department.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Sharon Kay (Moran) Nibert; daughters, Tanya (Matt) Guerin of Flagler Beach, FL and Angela (Greg Gross) Young of Frazeysburg, OH; a grandson, Jarrod Young of Frazeysburg; and nephews, Dennis (Becky) Nibert of Huntington, Densil Nibert of Charlestown, WV and Sam (Mindy) Nibert of Gallipolis Ferry.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Steve Nibert and Pastor David Washington officiating. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Frazeysburg Cemetery in Frazeysburg, Ohio.
