Dale Jackson Moore

Dale Jackson Moore, 95, of West Columbia, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant. He was born October 15, 1926, in Henderson, a son of the late Goffrey Dale Moore and Madaline (Mays) Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris F. (McDaniel) Moore; a daughter, Debra L. Moore; grandson, Richard Dale Morrison; brothers, Vaughan, Lyle and Gene Moore; stepmother, Immogene Moore; and grandparents, Rome and Fanny Moore. Dale was retired from American Car and Foundry in Huntington and served his country in the United States Navy. He is survived by daughters, Carla J. Moore of West Columbia and Jacalyn D. (Richard) Morrison of Point Pleasant; a sister, Carolyn Sayre of Point Pleasant; granddaughters, Rachel (Marc) Forshee and Jessica Morrison; great-grandchildren, Madalyn Forshee, Hailey Forshee, Cole Morrison, Ty Spires, Cody Morrison, Britney Morrison, Dillon Morrison and Alexis Morrison; and great-great-granddaughters, Adalynn Grace Morrison and Jalynn Morrison. A private burial was held Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant.Arrangements were under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
