Cynthia Gale Moses

Cynthia Gale (Henline) Moses, 50, of Point Pleasant, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. She was born November 13, 1971, in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Larry Junior Henline and Ruby Carol (Cunningham) Quick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Elhajajji; father-in-law, Charles Moses and mother-in-law, Margie Moses. Cyndi was a member of New Hope Bible Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Independence High School Class of 1990, attended Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Matthew Moses of Point Pleasant; four children, Whitney (Brandon) Workman of Barboursville, WV, Tori Moses of LaGrange, KY, Emily Moses of LaGrange, KY and Chase (Hannah) Moses of Bemidji, MN; three grandchildren, Cohen Moses, Camden Moses and Lylah Workman which were the loves of her life; stepfather, Ralph Quick of Buckhannon; and a sister, Lora Deras of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by fur-babies, Jake, Koba and Gemma (flippin cat); and her grand-fur-babies, Winston, Aspen, Baylor and Cain; as well as a host of many family and friends. Cyndi is known firstly for the ever so present love for her family, kind selfless heart, warm smile, love of coffee, sunsets, Albert Tate and Jesus Christ. Her strength and faith were abundantly present. She cared for many people throughout the community. She will be so very missed, but we will celebrate her life daily as we continue to go through our lives. The family would like to send a special Thank You to Dr. Silbermin and staff, St. Mary’s Infusion Center staff, John Hopkins, OSU, Heidi our hospice nurse and Hospice of Huntington, as well as all family and friends for all of the love and support. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021, at New Hope Bible Baptist Church in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Dean Warner and Ronnie Cremeans officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be after6 p.m. Friday at the church until service time Saturday. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
