Chester Allen Canter

Chester Allen Canter, 67, of Point Pleasant, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, OH. He was born April 2, 1954, in Lancaster, OH, a son of the late Amos Canter and Olive Bonita (Wilson) Canter. Chester served his country in the United States Army and was a truck driver. He is survived by children, Amos, Christy, Roger, and Heather Canter of Ohio.He was one of 16 children; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews; special friends, Don and Kim Wyant; and his church family. A graveside service and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at the Henderson Cemetery in Henderson, with Pastors Bert Flora and David Washington officiating.Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
