Charlotte Ann Richardson

Charlotte Ann Richardson, 84, of Ashton, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at home. She was born July 7, 1937, in Ashton, a daughter of the late John D. "Don" Tolliver and Lola Belle (Scarberry) Tolliver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Herbert Richardson; a daughter, Tina R. Richardson; son, Larry D. Hill; a sister, Gladys Geraldine Price; and brothers, Charles, Leo, Kenneth and Richard Tolliver. Charlotte was a homemaker and member of Beale Chapel Church at Apple Grove. She is survived by her companion of 38 years, Bill G. Kauffer of Ashton; two sons, Gregory Keith (Karen) Hill of Gallipolis Ferry and Kenneth Wayne (Robin) Richardson of Fraziers Bottom, WV; grandchildren, Larry Todd Hill and Sarah Beth Hill of Gallipolis Ferry, James Mitchell (Cierra) Richardson of Livermore, CA and Mindy R. (Josh) Adkins of Huntington, WV; and great-grandchildren, Easton Todd Hill, Kylee Deanna Hill, Gage Lee Adkins and Cash Mitchell Richardson. She is also survived by sisters, Eileen Wray of Columbus, OH, Avalee (Belford) Saunders of Glenwood and Betty Sturgeon of Ashton; a brother, Lester (Wilma) Tolliver of Lesage, WV; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Ronald Long officiating. Burial will follow at the Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Ashton. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Wednesday at the funeral home.
