Charles Garry Spencer

Charles Garry Spencer, 71, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 6, 1950, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Carl Edward Spencer and Agatha Pauline (Krebs) Spencer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jackie, Carl Jr., Bobby and Jimmy Spencer; and sisters, Joan Roach and Vickie Sayre. Garry was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1969, served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Ravenswood, WV. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Paula J. Jones and husband, Brent and their children, Kimberly, Alan and Andrew of Point Pleasant; son and daughter-in-law, Charles G. Spencer II and wife Tina and their children. Coalton, Charlie, Devon and Cash of Ironton, OH; sisters, Janice Roush of Point Pleasant and Ethel (Robert) Taylor of Point Pleasant; brothers, Larry (Laura) Spencer of Point Pleasant and Ronnie (Becky) Spencer of Point Pleasant; and multiple nieces, nephews and a host of great friends. There will be no public service.Burial will be held at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV.Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
