Charles Evertt Shull

Charles Evertt "Chuck" Shull, 54, of Southside, WV, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. He was born May 16, 1968, in Point Pleasant, WV a son of the late James Shirley Shull and Helen Louise (Jeffers) Shull. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Leroy "Lee" Shull. Chuck loved hunting and the Mason County Fair. He was a laborer with Asplundh Tree Company. He is survived by his fiancée, Tammy Hoffman of Point Pleasant; two sons, Jacob Shull of Southside and Matthew Shull of Southside; two daughters, Mindy McCarty of New Haven, WV and Angie Clark of Mason, WV; five grandchildren; two brothers, James D. Shull of Southside and Steve (Cindy) Shull of Pomeroy, OH; a sister, Janice Peters of Southside; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2022, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Bert Flora officiating. Burial will follow at the Harmony Cemetery in Southside. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Monday at the funeral home.
