Charles Murphy Lathey

Charles Murphy Lathey, 59, of Leon, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at home. He was born September 18, 1960, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Charles Lucian Lathey and Alice A. (Goff) Lathey of Leon. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Angela L. (Colegrove) Lathey. Murphy was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and had worked as a deckhand for various river companies. He is survived by his mother, Alice Lathey; and a daughter, Jessica Ann Lathey. A private burial will be Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Mount Zion Cemetery in Leon. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
