Charles W. "Windy" Heib

Charles William "Windy" Heib, 89, of Point Pleasant, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at home. He was born October 20, 1932, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Curney R. Heib and Margaret J. (Tucker) Heib. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie E. Heib; a brother, Curney Heib Jr.; sister, Shirley Lively; and a great-grandson, James Brady Leonard. Windy was a member of the Bellemead United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant.He served his country in the Army National Guard and retired from the WV Laborers Local 543 after 50 years service. He is survived by sons, Charles Michael (Julie) Heib of Gallipolis Ferry, Randall L. (Pam) Heib of Letart and Roger A. Heib of Point Pleasant; sisters, Barbara Glenn of Raymond City, WV and Teresa Steele of NC; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. In honoring his wishes there will be no public services.Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
