Charles Edward Cremeans, 80, of Glenwood, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021, at the Teays Valley Center in Hurricane, WV. He was born September 24, 1940, in Glenwood, a son of the late Selba Cremeans and Rebecca (Huffman) Cremeans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sylvia E. (McCoy) Cremeans; wife, Judith Ann (Duffer) Cremeans; daughter, Sandra Lea Cremeans; sister, Polly Ann Clagg; and a daughter-in-law, Sheila Hope Cremeans. Charles was a retired machinist from American Car and Foundry and a farmer. He is survived by his son, Gregory Charles Cremeans of Glenwood; grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Huddleston of Point Pleasant, Shane Cremeans of Glenwood and Josh Cremeans of Belle, WV; great-grandchildren, Montana and Skylar Huddleston.He is also survived by a sister, Betty Jane Williams of Lewisburg, WV; brother, George Harold Cremeans of Columbus, OH; and brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Carolyn Duffer of Glenwood and Janice Meade of Vienna, WV. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Ronald Long officiating.Burial will follow in the Pete Meadows Cemetery in Glenwood.The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Wednesday at the funeral home.
