Carroll Wayne "Cw" Saxon Ii

Carroll Wayne "CW" Saxon II, 48, of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at Rivers Health.

He was born April 29, 1976, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Carroll Wayne Saxon and Linda Sue (See) Saxon.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Casey; three sisters, Mary Casey, Nancy Casey and Vickie Johnson; and a nephew, Joey Thompson.

CW was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1995. He was a Tow Boat Captain for Ohio River Marine, but has worked on the river for the past 25 years.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Sue (See) Saxon of Point Pleasant; a son, Justin Cole Saxon of Point Pleasant; a special friend, Amy Saxon of Point Pleasant; a brother, James W. (Rhonda) Casey Jr. of Alabaster, AL; and three nieces, Candace Weaver of Alabaster, AL, Lyndsey Casey of Sharonville, OH and Cali Nowlin of Ravenswood, WV.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Joe Nott officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Friday at the funeral home.
