Carolyn Sue Brillhart

Carolyn Sue (Blake) Brillhart, 71, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 13, 2010. She was born May 25, 1939 in Minden, WV, a daughter of the late Cecil Charles Blake and Bessie Bell (Osborne) Blake. Carolyn was a member of the Heights United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant, and the Pleasant Valley Hospital Auxiliary. She was retired from the Mason County office of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources as a income maintenance worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Alan Gregory Brillhart; and one brother, Thomas Gary Blake. Surviving are her husband, A. G. Brillhart II of Point Pleasant; a son and daughter-in-law, John and LeEtta Brillhart of Point Pleasant; one granddaughter, Kristen Jill (Adam) Evans of Jacksonville, FL; three grandsons, Heath Alan Brillhart of Jacksonville, FL, Josh Hart of Point Pleasant, and Christopher Alan Brillhart of Spartanburg, SC; and three great grandchildren, Jillian, Faith, and Logan Evans of Jacksonville, FL. A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Brother Walter Owen Eads Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Floral Hills Garden of Memories in Sissonville, WV. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till service time Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Carolyn's memory to Pleasant Valley Hospital Auxiliary, 2520 Valley Drive, Point Pleasant, WV 25550.
