Carla Gaye (Williamson) Ury

Carla Gaye (Williamson) Ury, 60, of Southside, WV, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, March 17, 2022, at home. She was born October 20, 1961, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Torres A. Williamson and Maxine Glendal (Wears) Williamson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Glenna Williamson; and a niece, Terry Lynn Williamson. Carla was a member of Harmony Baptist Church at Southside and a supporter of Evangelical Christian Charities.She was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1979, Huntington School of Beauty Culture and the Charleston Barber School.Carla was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted Christian who loved Jesus.She loved her home, being a homemaker, cooking and sharing food with others.She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her former husband and companion, Petru "Pete" Tutuian of Southside; children, Ryan Scott Ury of Staunton, VA, Jeffrey Tyler Ury of Point Pleasant and Jaime Lauren (Aaron) Faulk of New Haven, WV; and grandchildren, Shaion Ury, Cheylan Ury, Lincoln Ury, Finley Ury, Austin Ury, Aniyah Ury, Maxon Ury, Uriah Faulk, Gideon Faulk, Solomon Faulk, Boaz Faulk and Bella Faulk.She is also survived by sisters, Sonya (Mike) Roach of Point Pleasant and Mary (Gary) Davis of Mansfield, OH; and brothers, Wayne Williamson of Southside, Danny (Susan) Williamson of Point Pleasant, Sam (Janet) Williamson of Southside and Victor (Penny) Williamson of Southside. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2022, at the Harmony Baptist Church in Southside, with Pastor David Radcliff officiating.Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery.The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Monday at the church.
