Carl Michael Bentley Sr.

Carl Michael Bentley Sr., 59, of Gallipolis Ferry, died Friday, June 17, 2016, at home. He was born April 15, 1957, in Mansfield, Ohio, a son of the late Ernest Bentley and Alline (Cain) Bentley of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Carl was retired from Alcoa in Cleveland, OH, as a machine technician and was a member of United Auto Workers of Cleveland. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two grandsons, Benjamin Bentley and Matthew Estes. Carl is survived by his wife, Margaret Sue (Richmond) Bentley of Gallipolis Ferry; his mother, Alline; four sons, Michael Scott (Megan) Bentley of Medina, OH, Carl Michael Jr. (Erin) Bentley of Wooster, OH, Ernest Ray (Laura) Bentley of Daphne, AL and Christopher Wilmer Bentley of Medina, OH; and six grandchildren, Jessica, Madison, Jillian, Tyler, Isabella and Brian. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Bud Richmond, 13063 Ripley Road, Pt. Pleasant, WV, with Rev. Bud Richmond officiating.
