Calvin Lee Hoschar, 51, of Southside, died Saturday, October 29, 2011. He was born April 27, 1960, in Gallipolis, Ohio, a son of the late Johnnie Hoschar and Nellie Marie (Lindsay) Hoschar. Calvin was employed as a loader operator with Twin River Hardwood of Southside. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard "Poncho" Lindsay; and one sister, Renie Russell. Surviving are his wife, Kelly Lea (Jeffers) Hoschar of Southside; one son, John Oliver of McArthur, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Hailey Elizabeth Jeffers of Southside; two brothers, Charles Hoschar of Glenwood and Johnnie Hoschar of Henderson; and five sisters, Nellie (Doug) Hudson of Southside, June Stover of Racine, Ohio, Annabelle Rice of Point Pleasant, Naomi (Jamie) Pullins of Point Pleasant, and Altie (Tim) Lewis of Richmond, IN. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Bert Flora officiating. Burial will follow in the Hoschar Cemetery at Southside.
