Brooks Coleman Glover

Brooks Coleman Glover, 77, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away peacefully at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Sunday, July 15, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was a hardworking man who retired from Akzo Chemical Plant and always enjoyed being around his family.Born February 2, 1941, in Henderson, he was the son of the late Ashbell R. and Eula M. Glover.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karla Ashley Glover; one son, Brooks Allen Glover; as well as, sisters, De-De and Nelly Glover.Brooks is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alta V. Glover; one son, Kevin Glover; two daughters, Talena (Dave) Glover and Christi (Eddie) Morgan; siblings, Connie and Millie Glover; seven grandchildren, Seth Glover, Brenton Glover, Corey (Kate) Dalton, Brooklyn (Levi) Metheney, Shana Cochran, Evan (Lori) Dalton, and Ashton Baird; along with ten great-grandchildren.A private memorial and funeral service will be observed.
