Brittany Leann Martyn

Brittany Leann Martyn, 31, of Columbus, OH, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH.

She was born October 29, 1992, in Gallipolis, OH, a daughter of Danny Martyn and Margie Dawn (Grimes) Brown.

Brittany loved being a mom and taking care of her daughter.  She also enjoyed talking with her friends on facebook.

She is survived by her daughter, Karmen Clark of Columbus; mother, Margie (Steve Sheets) Brown of Columbus; father and stepmother, Danny and Karissa Martyn of Gallipolis; brothers, Mason Brown of Gallipolis and Daniel Martyn of Columbus; sister, Grace Martyn of Lancaster; special friend, Tiara Clark of Columbus; best friends, Nicole Bailey of Gallipolis and Danielle Leonard of Bidwell, OH; and multiple uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Ben Pauley officiating.  Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant.  Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
