Brielle Perry Rimmey

Brielle Perry Rimmey, 10, of Point Pleasant, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.

She was born December 29, 2013, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Nathan C. Rimmey and Rochelle L. Davis.

Brielle was a fourth grade student at Point Pleasant Intermediate School.  She was an energetic young lady who loved to stay busy, from playing softball with the Point Pleasant Big Bend Softball League, basketball with the 6th grade All Stars Team for Mason County and the 3rd & 4th grade Coed All Stars Team; she was always on the move.  She participated in Gem Revolution cheer, excelled in academics and her latest hobby was dirt bike riding.  She loved her family, animals, and her fur babies Oakley, Piper, Baker and Flex.  Brielle had a big heart; she would prefer to give than to receive.

She is survived by her parents, Rochelle L. Davis and Brandon Edge of Point Pleasant and Nathan C. and Shantelle Rimmey of Point Pleasant; brothers, Emmitt Tyce Rimmey and Miles Jeffrey Rimmey; maternal grandmother, Vicki Caudill of Gallipolis Ferry; paternal grandparents, Vicki and Timothy Woyan of Point Pleasant; maternal great grandparents, Shirl and Dolly Nibert of Gallipolis Ferry; paternal great grandparents, Peggy and Richard Ward of Point Pleasant; maternal great grandfather, Robert L. Davis of Gallipolis; and maternal great grandmother, Debra Miller of Gallipolis; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a shared account under the names of Brielle's parents at OVB for the renovations and upkeep of the softball field next to the Point Pleasant Intermediate School.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Point Pleasant High School Girls Gymnasium, with Pastor Jimmy Jordan officiating.  Burial will follow at Lewis Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry.  Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. Saturday, at the school gymnasium.
