Brenda L. Nott

Brenda Louise Nott, 59, of Point Pleasant, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born July 11, 1956, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of Edward F. Layton and the late Pearl Alline (King) Layton. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Lucretia Nott. She is survived by her husband, Rusty Nott of Point Pleasant; one step-daughter, Vickie Lynn Bale of Point Pleasant; one step-son, Kevin Russell Nott of Point Pleasant; three sisters, Karen, Dixie and Laloni; four brothers, Butch, Don, Eddie and Brian; seven step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Annetta Durst and Rev. Nancy Hern officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. Visitation will be one hour prior to service Sunday at the funeral home.
