Brenda Kay Hatfield

Brenda Kay Hatfield, 60, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was born March 27, 1962, in Gallipolis, OH, a daughter of the late Cecil Edwin White and Esta Juanita (Glover) White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Janice Myers, James "Jimmy" Myers, Paul "Gene" Myers, Nancy Johnson, Donald "Pickles" White, Linda Hamilton and Thomas "Tom" White; and father-in-law, Michael Hatfield. Brenda was a member of the College Hill Church in Gallipolis Ferry.She was a graduate of Gallia Academy and was a private caregiver. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Russell L. "Rusty" Hatfield of Point Pleasant; a brother, Wilbert "Webb" White of Lancaster, OH; sisters, Connie Johnson of Gallipolis, OH, Shirley Phillips of Gallipolis, Christina (Rick) Carroll of Gallipolis and Rosalee Cain of Sophia, NC; mother-in-law, Kay Hatfield of Gallipolis Ferry; special uncle and aunt, Shelby and Cathy Searls of Gallipolis Ferry; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the College Hill Church in Gallipolis Ferry, with Evangelist Cathy Searls and Pastor Josh Searls officiating.
