Billie Jardine

Billie (Wilson) Jardine, 82, of Point Pleasant died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Christner Hilltop Manor in Point Pleasant. She was a retired teacher with 35 years service with Portsmouth City Schools. Billie was born Feb. 20, 1927 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio to the late William Wilson and Dent Kae (Keller) Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Jardine; one sister, Mary Barbara Cross; and a son-in-law, Gary Sullens. Surviving are four daughters, Judith K. Jardine and husband, Alan W. Rees of Jackson, OH, Jerrilyn J. Sullens of Blue Creek, OH, Hazel C. Jardine of Franklin Furnace, OH, and Jacqulyn Jardine of Radcliff, OH; one brother, Dale Wilson of Mt. Sterling, OH; one sister, JoAnne Fury of Mt. Sterling, OH; six grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 24 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
