Bill Gordon

Bill Gordon, 84, of Middleport, OH, formerly of Leon, WV, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Arbors of Pomeroy. He was born October 6, 1937, in Leon, a son of the late Dencil C. Gordon and Madge L. (Nunley) Gordon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Frances Thornton, Patricia Gordon, Alice Hatcher and Reba Gordon; and a brother, Donald W. Gordon. Bill was a former employee for Hardman's Home Center in Point Pleasant and Walmart of Gallipolis, OH. He is survived by daughters, Cordelia R. (Michael) Stewart of Mason, WV and Amy L. Gordon of Gallipolis Ferry; a son, Sean P. (Penelope) Gordon of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Makayla R. Harris, Liberty G. Ward, Jayden E. Stewart, Jozi R. Stewart, and Jason M. Stewart; sisters, Ellen (Leonard) McDaniel and Dottie Casto all of Leon; and a brother, Ray (Helen) Gordon of Leon. A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2022, at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Leon, WV.Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
