Beverly Jean Beckner

Beverly Jean Beckner, 68, of Apple Grove, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was born January 17, 1953, in South Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Robert Arles Edwards and Rosetta Marie (Morgan) Dabney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Wayne Edwards; and father of her sons, Charles Harvey Delmos Beckner. Beverly was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1971 and Marshall University.She was a retired receptionist for the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services and attended the New Beginnings Baptist Church in Point Pleasant. She is survived by two sons, Christopher Paul (Chelsea) Beckner of Aubrey, TX and Charles Harvey Delmos Beckner III of Limon, CO; brothers, Steven Michael (Connie) Edwards of Apple Grove and Robert E. (Tammy) Edwards of Apple Grove; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the College Hill Church, 165 Wood School Road, Gallipolis Ferry, WV.Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
