Betty Jean Neville

Betty Jean (Barton) Neville, 69, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was born July 31, 1941 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Larry Barton and Wilma Corrine (Acton) Barton. Betty was a member of the Beech Hill United Methodist Church and former business owner of Eufaula Donut Shop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Jean Barton. Betty was a loving mother to her children, David (Lynne) Neville of Checotah, Oklahoma; Jenny Neville of Baltimore, Maryland; James G. "Butch" Neville, Jr. currently in Afghanistan; and Wilma Jean Neville (Chris) Bright of Gallipolis Ferry. In addition to her children, she is survived by, one brother, Larry (Janice) Barton Jr. of Leona Valley, California; two sisters, Mary Ann (Jack) Hollis of Torrance, California; and Carol (Syed) Akbar of Rolling Hills Estates, California; twelve grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at the Maple Park Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri at the convenience of her family.
