Betty Jo Goodremont

Betty Jo Goodremont, 73, of Leon, WV, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015, after an extended illness at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV. She was born September 30, 1942, a daughter of the late Spencer Stutler and Corda Frances (Snyder) Stutler. Betty Jo was a homemaker who loved to garden, can, and cook. She also loved helping others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers, sisters, step-brothers and step-sisters. Surviving are her special companion, Clint Garvin of Leon; a daughter and son-in-law, Bobby Jo and Anthony Tressel of Elgin, IL; one sister, Marie Thaxton; and two brothers, Robert Stutler and Charles Stutler. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Elmer Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Letart, WV.
