Benny Lee Wallis

Benny Lee Wallis 59, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV died Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, WV. He was born August 6, 1946 in Point Pleasant to the late Harry L. and Frances Belle (Yester) Wallis. Benny was employed with Prestera in Point Pleasant, 1964 Point Pleasant High School graduate, a farmer, and was retired from the Goodyear Plant with 32 years of service. Surviving are his wife; Anna (Harper) Wallis of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, son; Brian Wallis and Alisha of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, two daughters and sons-in-law; Shari and Paul Facemyer of Gallipolis, Ohio and Leslie and Glen Watterson of Point Pleasant, WV, a brother and sister-in-law; Terry and Dianne Wallis of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, three sisters and brothers-in-law; Gale and Larry Chapman of Gallipolis Ferry, Darelene and Kenneth Hayes of Pomeroy, Ohio, and Marilyn and Olin Blain, Jr. of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, and granddaughters; Sarah Watterson and Jennifer Watterson of Point Pleasant and Kayla Facemyer of Gallipolis, Ohio, several nieces and nephews, and his dog "Muggs". Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Revs. Sanders Rulen and Charles Moses officiating. Burial will follow in the Jordan Cemetery at Gallipolis Ferry, WV. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2006 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
