Basil Orin Casey

Basil Orin "Bo" "Bud" Casey, 78, of Apple Grove, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was born April 15, 1944, in Gallipolis, OH, to the late Basil Edward Casey and Maggie Marie "Rendy" (Barker) Casey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Bob (Mary) Casey; brother-in-law, Larry Tackett; and sister-in-law, Tina Casey. Basil was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and retired from M&G Polymers. He loved to fish and ride 4-wheelers. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Gay (Beller) Casey of Apple Grove; two sons, Basil O. "Buddy" Casey II of Gallipolis Ferry and William "Bill" (Missy) Lloyd of Gallipolis Ferry; two grandchildren, William (Alex) Lloyd Jr. of Jacksonville, NC and Hannah Lloyd of Gallipolis Ferry; two great grandchildren, Mason and Lakin Lloyd. He is also survived by two sisters, Peggy Tackett of Gallipolis, OH and Darlene (John) Hurlow of Gallipolis Ferry; a brother, Steve Casey of Mt. Alto; and multiple nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
