Barbara Ann Roush

Barbara Ann Roush, 79, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Eagle Pointe Healthcare Center in Parkersburg, WV.

She was born July 26, 1944, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Willard W. Barnette and Myrtle I. (Hoschar) Barnette.

Barbara was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1962.  She attended several local churches and retired as Manager from the Wallpaper Outlet of Point Pleasant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Roush Sr.; a son, John Travis Roush; daughter, Mariessa Kelly Arthur; sisters, Virginia "Susie" (Edgar) Harmon, Janie (Jack) Wilt and Delores (Jerl) Hall; brothers, James W. Barnette,  George Barnette, David A. Barnette,  Johnnie R. Barnette and twins Billy and Bobby Barnette; and a nephews, Christopher Barnette.

She is survived by sons, Donald E. Jr. (Chilta) Roush and Timothy L. (Julia) Roush; sisters-in-law, Joan Barnette and Loretta Barnette; grandchildren, Dustin (Linda) Taylor, Heather (Rusty) Webster, Tiffany (Scottie) Legg and Peyton Donohue; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Tammy Cline.

A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, June 28, 2024, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Carl "Boxer" Swisher officiating.  Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Henderson.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service Friday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers are Scottie Legg, Landon Legg, Randy Smith, Greg Forbes, Rick Jordan, Mark Roush, Everett Arthur and Rusty Webster.
