Barbara Jo Lucas

Barbara Jo Lucas, 76, of Point Pleasant, died Sunday, July 12, 2015, at home. She was born January 4, 1939, a daughter of the late Fritz Bonecutter and Cora E. (Riffle) Bonecutter. Barbara had worked in housekeeping for Holzer Hospital and the Holiday Inn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty McCoy; and three brothers, Bob, Bill and Bruce Bonecutter. Surviving are four sons, Larry Lucas of Point Pleasant, Russell (Misty) Lucas of Point Pleasant, David (Valeria) Lucas of Point Pleasant and Mark (Karen) Lucas of Gallipolis Ferry; seven grandchildren, Little Dave Lucas, Cassie (Travis) Simpkins, Corrie (Michael) Fetty, Calie Lucas, Amy Lucas, Lacey (Christopher) Thompson and Hunter Lucas; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Marshall Bonecutter officiating. Burial will follow at Old Lone Oak Cemetery in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home.
