Barbara Ann Dabney

Barbara Ann Dabney, 76, of Point Pleasant, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at home. She was born September 30, 1944, in Hialeah, FL, a daughter of the late Earnest R. and Margaret Hitchcock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Barbara was a retired cook from the AEP River Transportation Division. She is survived by her husband, Walter L. Dabney of Point Pleasant; sons, James Higginbotham of Cross Lanes, WV and Danny Higginbotham of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Jessica Higginbotham of Cross Lanes and Dexter Higginbotham of San Francisco; and several brothers and sisters. There will be no public services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
